Refund & Return Policy

We stand behind the quality of our electroplating equipment and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products and receiving refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

The following conditions must be met for a product to be eligible for return:

• The item must be unused, in its original condition, and free of any chemical residue or contamination.
• The item must be in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
• The return request must be made within 30 days of the delivery date.
• The customer must contact our support team and receive a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping any item back.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund due to their custom or consumable nature:

• Custom-fabricated equipment: Custom polypropylene tanks, custom-sized plating tanks, custom anodes, and custom automated plating lines built to unique customer specifications.
• Chemicals and consumables: Plating chemicals, anodizing chemicals, additives, and treatment solutions that have been opened or used.
• Special-order items: Products specially ordered or configured per customer request that are not part of our standard inventory.
• Used equipment: Any equipment that has been installed, operated, or exposed to plating solutions.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

• Contact our support team at +1 (704) 867-4700 or info@electroplatingtanksystem.com within 30 days of delivery.
• Provide your order number, the product name, and the reason for the return.
• Once approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions.
• Package the item securely in its original packaging. For large or heavy items, proper crating is required.
• Ship the item to: 411 Annex Ave APT G1, Nashville, TN 37209, United States.

Items returned without an RA number will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, including crating and freight charges for large items. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. For heavy equipment requiring LTL freight return, the customer must arrange proper crating and freight shipping back to our facility.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The refund amount will be the product purchase price minus any original shipping costs (if applicable).

If the returned item is found to be used, damaged, or not in original condition, we reserve the right to deny the refund or charge a restocking fee of up to 25% of the product price.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for repair, replacement, or return at no additional cost to you. Please provide photographs of the damage and retain all original packaging for carrier inspection.

For products that develop defects within the warranty period, please refer to the warranty terms provided with your product. Our fabricated tanks carry a 3-year leak-proof warranty, and rectifiers/electrical systems carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled free of charge if the request is made before the order has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it must be processed as a return according to the terms above. Custom fabrication orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product or size, please return the original item following the return process above and place a new order for the desired product.

9. Restocking Fees

A restocking fee of 15-25% may apply to returned items that are not defective, depending on the product type and condition upon return. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and restocking costs. The exact fee will be communicated when your return is authorized.
