Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how Electroplating Tank System processes, packages, and delivers industrial electroplating equipment to customers within the United States. Due to the size and weight of many of our products, specialized freight handling is often required.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days of order confirmation, provided the items are in stock. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Custom-fabricated items, including custom polypropylene tanks, automated plating lines, and made-to-order anodes, have a typical fabrication lead time of 4-6 weeks. This lead time will be clearly communicated on your order confirmation and invoice.

2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time. For special freight routing to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact our support team to discuss available options.

3. Shipping Methods and Carriers

We use the following shipping methods depending on product size, weight, and destination:

• Standard Parcel Shipping: Smaller items (chemicals, gaskets, sensors, small accessories) under 150 lbs are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground.
• LTL Freight Shipping: Items weighing over 150 lbs, including plating tanks, rectifiers, and automated systems, are secured in heavy-duty wooden freight crates on pallets and shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers with liftgate delivery included.
• Freight Delivery Appointment: For LTL freight shipments, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure a valid phone number is provided at checkout.

4. Free Shipping Policy

We offer FREE ground shipping on all orders within the continental United States. This includes standard parcel shipping and LTL freight with liftgate delivery. No sales tax is collected on orders.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after order processing:

• Standard parcel items: 3-7 business days within the continental U.S.
• Large/heavy equipment (LTL freight): 5-12 business days within the continental U.S., depending on destination and freight carrier scheduling.
• Custom-fabricated items: 4-6 weeks fabrication time plus 5-12 business days shipping time.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to weather, carrier delays, or peak shipping seasons.

6. Packaging and Crating

All equipment is professionally packaged to ensure safe transit. Large items are secured in heavy-duty structural wooden crates mounted on pallets. Smaller items are packaged in protective shipping materials. Fragile components such as heating elements, sensors, and glass parts receive additional protective wrapping.

7. Delivery and Inspection

Upon delivery, please inspect your shipment before signing the delivery receipt. The following steps are important:

• Check the exterior of the crate or package for visible damage.
• Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
• Take photographs of any visible damage to the packaging or product.
• Contact us within 48 hours if any damage is discovered.
• Retain all original packaging until the product has been fully inspected and confirmed operational.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at +1 (704) 867-4700 or info@electroplatingtanksystem.com. We will work with the carrier to file a freight claim and arrange for replacement or repair. Please retain all packaging materials and take photographs as evidence, as carriers require this for claim processing.

9. Shipping Restrictions

Some products, including certain chemicals and hazardous materials, may have additional shipping restrictions or require special handling. These restrictions will be noted on the product page. Chemical products cannot be shipped to PO boxes and must be delivered to a physical business address.

10. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. For LTL freight shipments, the freight carrier's contact information and tracking/pro number will be provided so you can schedule your delivery appointment.
